De Bethune DB28 Kind of Blue Tourbillon Meteorite

Wow! If you like blue and you like watches, I think we have a winner!

De Bethune recently announced its one of a kind DB28 Kind of Blue Tourbillon Meteorite. The dial is crafted from a piece of a meteorite that hit the earth 5,000 years ago in the Santiago del Estero region of Argentina, and has been noted as the largest impact from a meteorite.

A thin slice was heated in order to reveal this spectacularly colored dial, and drops of white gold were added to small holes drilled into the dial, which represent the stars glowing in the night sky. Taking a prominent position on the dial is a 30 second tourbillon at 6 o'clock.

The watch is set into a 42mm blue titanium case and enhanced by blue alligator strap.

The DB28 Kind of Blue Tourbillon Meteorite is a unique piece.
